Faculty Involvement

Students who live on campus have a unique opportunity to interact with faculty outside the classroom. Research has shown that students who take advantage of such opportunities tend to achieve at higher levels (Pascarella and Terenzini, 1991) and tend to be more satisfied with the overall college experience (Astin, 1985). Each year, the Office of Housing and Residence Life partners with faculty from throughout the University to provide a calendar full of educational and entertaining events in the residence halls.
