Our Summer Housing Staff
Our Summer Housing Staff is here to assist you with the planning process & throughout your visit.
Conference Assistants (CA)
Our CAs are undergraduate Mason students who are employed by the Office of Housing and Residence Life (OHRL) and live in the residence halls over the summer.
They are trained to assist you in the following ways:
- Assist with checking you in/out of your room
- Help with room or key questions
- Serve as a campus and area resource
- Promote an atmosphere that is friendly
- Help keep you safe by enforcing the policies established by the OHRL and the University
- Work at each Area Desk
- Perform area rounds during the evening hours to help ensure the safety and security of residents
- Provide on-call coverage each night (They may be reached by calling your Area Desk.)
Area Coordinators (AC) & Resident Directors (RD)
ACs and RDs are full-time professionals that supervise our CAs. They are responsible for the overall management of your living area. They too can be a campus resource and are here to help make your stay with us a positive experience!
Assistant Director for Marketing & Conference Housing
The AD for Marketing and Conference Housing will be your main point of contact as you seek information about our Summer Camp or Conference Housing and plan your stay.
Marketing and Conference Housing Summer Intern (MCHSI)
The MCHSI is a Graduate Student from a Student Affairs program at another university who assists the AD for Marketing and Conference Housing and brings varied experience and ideas to our school.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
Our Maintenance and Housekeeping staff work hard throughout the summer to prepare our buildings for your arrival and address your concerns. In all cases, reporting maintenance and housekeeping inquiries to the Area Desk provides our staff the best opportunity to address requests appropriately and efficiently.
*Note: Guests are required to follow all reasonable direction issued by authorized representatives of OHRL Staff and other University officials.
