Some Essential Things to Bring
- Linens (pillows, sheets for an extra-long twin bed, blankets, towels), if not provided for your conference
- Personal hygiene items
- Shower caddy
- Shower shoes
- Hangers
- Alarm clock
Other Suggestions of What to Bring:
- Bed-foam to make your matress more comfortable
- Garbage can, if you will be here for a while and want one in your room
- Small refrigerator or microwave, if you are not staying in an apartment
- Detergent, if you plan to do laundry
- TV and cable cord (the halls do have campus cable)
- Ethernet cord, computer, printer (your group must request internet accounts to obtain access non-Mason students or staff)

Parking Services and Transportation
Parking at Mason is by decal or permit only. Parking permits must be arranged through the Parking Services Office @ 703-993-2710) or www.gmu.edu/univserv/.
The CUE Bus provides access to the Metro system and area businesses. The bus stop is located on Patriot Circle, across from Lot G. The cost per trip is $.75.
Quiet Hours
During this time, noise should not be heard outside of your room. Quiet hours are designed to protect the academic mission of the residential community and the university.

Mail
US Postal Service is available at the Mason Mail Services Office located on the ground floor of Student Union Building II (SUB II). Mail comes daily to the Area Desk, but please be aware that it goes to a general areas first to be sorted and can take a while to arrive. Mail arriving after your departure cannot be forwarded.
